Enthusiastic Celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday at CIS Primary Malang: Emulating Noble Character from an Early Age

MALANG – CIS Primary Malang successfully hosted the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW through the Chalidana Islamic Festival. Carrying the theme "Know Him, Love Him, Follow Him", the event held on Wednesday (11/09) was attended with great enthusiasm and solemnity by all students and teaching staff.

The event kicked off with a cultural Islamic parade around the school neighborhood. Students wore traditional Islamic attire and traditional outfits while chanting prayers (salawat). They proudly carried handcrafted posters and banners filled with messages of love and devotion to Prophet Muhammad SAW.

The excitement continued on the main stage with various Islamic competitions, including text recitations and public speaking/speech performances. Participating students confidently demonstrated their skills and shared inspirational messages in front of their peers and judges.

Through this annual event, the school aims to not only foster students' public speaking skills and self-confidence, but also deeply instill the noble character of Prophet Muhammad SAW into their daily lives.
