Excitement at Language Fair 2026 CIS Primary Gresik: Boosting Students' English Confidence with Native Speaker
GRESIK – High spirits and enthusiasm filled the
school atmosphere during the festive annual Language Fair 2026 event held at
CIS Primary Gresik. This special program was organized as part of the school's
commitment to delivering high-quality, interactive, and enjoyable foreign
language education for all students. On this occasion, the school specially
invited a native speaker, Mr. Derek K. Laurendeau, who brought fresh insights
along with an authentic and memorable English learning experience for the
learners.
To ensure that the event ran effectively and comfortably
according to the students' developmental levels, the entire program was divided
into two distinct sessions. The first session took place from 08:00 to 09:30
AM, dedicated specifically to lower class students (Grades 1–3). Following a
brief intermission, the program continued with the second session from 10:00 to
11:30 AM for upper class students (Grades 4–6), ensuring an optimal level of
engagement for each age group.
Throughout the event, students demonstrated remarkable
eagerness as they actively participated in various interactive learning
activities led by Mr. Derek. The session was delivered in a captivating manner
through communicative presentations, dynamic Q&A sessions, and practical
tips on how to speak English with confidence. The students' immense curiosity
and enthusiasm were clearly visible as many eagerly raised their hands to ask
questions and interact directly with the speaker on stage.
