CIS Events

Praise be to Allah, CIS Primary Gresik has successfully held the Commemoration of the Isra’ and Mi’raj of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with solemnity, orderliness, and profound meaning. This event was attended by all students, teachers, and educational staff as part of character development and the reinforcement of Islamic values within the school environment.

The series of events began with the recitation of Juz 30, which was followed by the students with great sincerity, followed by congregational Dhuha prayer as a form of early worship practice. After that, the official event was opened with an opening session and remarks from the Principal of CIS Primary Gresik, who emphasized the importance of making the Isra' Mi'raj event a momentum to improve the quality of worship and morals in daily life.

Next, the students received an explanation of the Isra' Mi'raj event of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, including its background, meaning, and lessons that can be learned and applied in daily life. The material was delivered in a communicative manner so that it was easy for students to understand, thereby instilling the exemplary values of the Prophet ﷺ.

The event then continued with a performance by students reciting hadiths and daily prayers. This performance was a tangible manifestation of the learning process that had been carried out at school, while also building students' confidence in conveying Islamic values in public. After the series of performances, the students enjoyed a sunnah lunch box together, which aimed to instill table manners in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

As a form of social awareness, CIS Primary Gresik also donated aid to disaster victims in Sumatra. The donations were distributed through INH (International Networking for Humanitarian) as a humanitarian agency that focuses on distributing aid appropriately and reliably. On the same occasion, INH representatives also provided humanitarian socialization to the students in order to foster a sense of empathy, concern, and a spirit of sharing with others in need.

The series of events was then closed with a group photo and a closing session. Through this Isra' Mi'raj Commemoration event, CIS Primary Gresik hopes to continue nurturing a generation that is not only academically excellent, but also has strong faith, noble character, and a high level of social awareness towards the environment and the surrounding community.
