Sports & Market Day | CIS Juanda - Primary

Student of primary school from Juanda just celebrated Sport and Market day on Thursday, 15th of December 2022.
To bring learning into real life with healthy life and entrepreneurs’ value, sports and markets day allow students to enjoy a change to be a powerful person and creative seller and also spend time outside the classroom doing more hands-on learning.
Students looked so excited since the early morning. They have to come to school on as they start going to swimming pool at 7.00 AM. They played two kind of games there; there were happy water ball and water pillow. On each game, they were given 5 minutes free swimming, and absolutely they were so happy.
After that, they changed their clothes by wearing the custom for market day. There were Indonesian traditional clothes for Indonesian snack, International attire for International Snack, Barista suit for Beverages group and chef’s clothing for main course. On this event, each group cointained 4 students.
They prepared their products that would be sold with enthusiastic. Market day opened at 9.30 AM begin with students promoting their products by perfoming their advertisings’ song. At 9.45, the market opened and students got their roles as seller or buyer changeable.
Learning by practicing in role play is best way for students to learn lessons, moral values and confidence. Experience and joyful that they got will always be remembered.
